Dear Kiddos-

Given the fact that I talk all the time, you’re probably wondering why I’m starting a blog. It’s not like things go unsaid in our home. Ever.

Today your dad and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary (him by watching It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and me by doing this). Scorch- you’re 4 and Bean- you’re 2.  Which means that time is going by way too fast and next time I blink you’ll be pissed off teenagers, so I want to make sure I document how freaking adorable, annoying, crazy, sweet and maddening you both are.

We’re lucky- we have a great life! But it is, as noted above, crazy. I work full time as does your Dad is a job that is less then family friend. And we have two small businesses. Add in two cats and a dog who is on 3 different anxiety medicines and you get a family that wouldn’t know what to do with time on their hands if they were ever lucky enough to stumble across it.

You guys are the love of our lives and no matter how nuts life gets, I want you to have a space to see just how much love, laughter and insanity surrounded you when you were little.
